Production introduction
Epoxy casting dry type transformer has its unique advantage in safety, fire retardant, explosive proof status, and is used more often in high-rise building, business center, hospital, opera, hotel, channel, subway, airport, railway station, dock, underground substation and other premises with higher fire safety requirements.
High insulation level: Epoxy resin has a breakdown field strength of 18-22kV/mm. This kind of transformer possesses a lightning stroke strength which is the same as that of oil-immersed transformer with the same voltage level. The insulation temperature level is F, which means the upper limit of temperature is 155℃, and the limit of temperature rise for the winding is 100K.
High short-circuit resistance: Because of the special properties of resin material and the integral casting way for winding, the mechanical strength of transformer is high after solidifying. Through series of burst short-circuit tests, we find that the casting dry-type transformer seldom fails for short-circuit.
Excellent fire-proof property: Epoxy resin is non-flammable material and fire retardant. It can extinguish automatically and secondary disaster such as explosion is hard to happen.
Exemption from maintenance: Because the perfect temperature control system and temperature display system are adopted, the epoxy-cast dry-type transformer can achieve exemption from maintenance. In this respect, both the operator’s tasks and the operation cost are reduced. Low consumption and high efficiency, low noise, small size, light weight, easy installation and debugging.
Fine adaptability: Epoxy resin is stable material, it is damp-proof and dust-proof. Even under rough conditions (e.g. the air is dusty or the humidity reaches 100%), the transformer can work well. Drying and preheating processes are not necessary for the restarting of transformer.
